Experience
Ian Kelly was admitted as a lawyer in 1982. He holds a Bachelor of Laws and Masters degrees in both Law and Business Administration as well as a Commerce Degree. He has held senior executive positions in government working in the areas of investment, accounting, succession law and trusts. He has significant experience advising in relation to the areas of estate planning, the making and contesting of wills and other estate litigation. He has a particular expertise in relation to trusts including both charitable and discretionary trusts as well as the investment of trust assets.
Ian has broad experience in advising and providing representation in relation to guardianship and administration for individuals with disabilities. He is an experienced advocate in both Courts and Tribunals and has considerable experience in the Supreme and District Courts as well as the Guardianship Tribunal.
