Philip has practised as a solicitor for over 30 years, having worked with leading firms in Brisbane CBD, rural and regional Queensland, and suburban Brisbane.
Philip enjoys representing real people and helping them with their real legal problems today and planning for the future. He brings his approachable way of communicating with clients so that they understand what’s happening, know what to expect, and are aware of their options.
He has worked in many legal jurisdictions and acquired an impressive range of skills and knowledge across many areas of law, all of which he brings to bear in his areas of focus at Hall Payne.
Philip frequently appears as an advocate in court and tribunal hearings, as well as mediations.
He is keenly aware of the personal and monetary costs of litigation and uses his extensive negotiation skills in a variety of alternative dispute resolution (“ADR”) processes, such as mediations, settlement conferences, and case appraisals.

- member Queensland Law Society.
Philip loves reading and writing, travel, bushwalking, and rugby league.
