Research Clerk
Ariana Liao is a research clerk at Hall Payne’s Brisbane office, working in the industrial relations and employment team. Ariana is currently completing her third year of a Law & Arts degree at the University of Queensland.
Her interest in employment and industrial law stems from a desire to advocate for those people who have been unfairly treated at work. She is excited about the opportunity to navigate the complexities of employment contracts, labour negotiations and workplace regulations while ensuring the rights of both employers and employees are upheld.
Ariana loves the idea of using her knowledge to help people. Her experience of volunteering at the Ipswich Magistrates Court has deeply affected her, reinforcing her commitment to pursuing a career in law, where she can advocate for individuals or groups who may not have the resources to navigate the legal system themselves.
Outside of work, Ariana loves reading novels, socialising with her friends and spending time with her cats, as well as travelling.
