Kym Greinke started in the law as a legal secretary and was determined to pursue a career that had a real impact. She works in our personal compensation team in Brisbane. Kym is now admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia.

Now, after more than 20 years of legal practice, primarily in plaintiff personal compensation litigation, Kym brings her broad range of experience and in-depth knowledge to every case and every client. She joined Hall Payne in 2011, to continue pursuing her career-long ambition to represent plaintiffs.
“Seeking compensation after loss is difficult, especially for those unfamiliar with the legal system,” she says.
“The claims process can be difficult to understand and hard to navigate, especially when people are already dealing with the physical, psychological and financial cost.”
Kym knows how to explain complex legal concepts in a concise and non-technical way and understands that expediting the legal process often means earlier access to rehabilitation, which makes a big difference to the people she represents.
Kym is a member of the Queensland Law Society and the Australian Lawyers Alliance.
Outside of work she enjoys spending quality time with her family and travelling.
